Hi!
I'm landing in Kuala Lumpur on the 7th of January and I should be in Siem Reap at around beginning of February (it's a soft deadline).
I was thinking of traveling all the way up to Bangkok (mainly by train) and then towards Siem Reap.
I would like to avoid crowds with lots of tourists, and I am interested in meeting locals and enjoying wonderful landscapes, mainly by the sea
If on the way there is any place where I can give a hand, I will be happy to skip some stop-overs and remain longer there.
I know I'm posting a difficult task, but I will be very very glad if you can give me some hints.
