Hey guys,
Myself and 4 friends (students aged 20-22) are planning to travel Southeast Asia for 6 weeks and we are looking for advice on places to see and hear just any main highlights that you guys would recommend for us to see.
Also if you could share any recommended routes and the cheapest methods of transport to use while we are out there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers guys
I'll beat Lizzy to this one: http://www.travelfish.org/trip_planner/ and then follow up on the forum with more specific questions based on your interests - culture, big cities, nature, beaches, etc.
Six weeks most people will visit Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, average about 2 weeks each. Probably cheapest to get a round trip ticket in and out of BKK (or maybe HCMC or Hanoi) and at the end of your trip take a regional flight back to your arrival city, you'll probably end up saving a little cash that way if losing a day on travel - sometimes it is nice to return to your original destination too - as it is already a sense of homecoming.
