    First trip to SE Asia, appreciate your feedback on my itinerary.


    Bangkok 2 days
    Ayuthaya 1 day (daytrip)
    fly to Luang Prabang
    Luang Prabang 4 days
    fly to Siem Reap
    Siem Reap 4 days
    fly to Bangkok
    Bangkok 2 days
    fly to Phuket
    Ko Phi Phi 4 days
    Ko Kradan 4 days
    fly back to Bangkok


    1-I was initially planning on including Chiang Mai but I heard March isn't the best time to visit Northern Thailand. Right?
    2-Should I consider going overland from Bangkok to LP and from Bangkok to Siem Reap to save money or is too much of a hassle? The trip reports about Bangkok-Poipet aren't very encouraging.
    3-What should I expect to pay for a discover pass Bangkok-Luang Prabang-Siem Reap-Bangkok?
