For my 19th birthday I was given a return ticket to Bangkok on the 9th of next month for 25 days. I have a budget of about 8000 AUD for those 25 days which i need to cover spending money, accommodation and domestic flights. Iv planned 3 days in Bangkok then Flying to Koh Samui for 7 days to train Muay Thai.
I need help planning the rest of my trip from here. What would you do if you had my time and my budget, Id like to fly over to Siem Reap for at least 5 days and check out Angkor Wat and maybe stop through Bali on the way back to Sydney after Thailand and Cambodia. What do you think?

My interests are History and partying.

Well, 8k will get you a lot of partying!

    Perhaps something like:
    Bangkok 5 days
Ayutthaya 2 days ( ruins an hour north of Bkk)
Kanchanaburi 3 days (river, national park war history a few hours west of Bkk)
Ko Samet 4 days (beach/island/party) few hours east of Bkk
Then fly to Siem Reap for Angkor way allow 4 days to cover Angkor and do a side trip to Battambang then bus to Phnom Penh 3 days party and history then flight to kl then Bali for remainder then flight back to Bangkok for return home.

Sorry for bodgy formatting - on phone :)

    More questions, ask!
