    Hi, I am going to Cambodia for a three month teaching placement but am thinking of doing the trail from singapore, through thailand, laos and veitnam for about 5 weeks before hand.

    Is it a relatively safe route for a lone traveller or would it be advisable to find someone to go with?

    Hi Laura,

    There's no shortage of individual travellers making their way through the countries you mention. Sure, keep your wits about you, but no need to look around at home to find someone to travel with -- you'll undoubtedly meet people along the way.

    I travel by myself also. Never had a problem. As posted above.....keep your wits about you.
