How much should I expect to pay for a flight between Bangkok and Siem Reap? Is it better to buy in advance or wait until I am in Bangkok?
THANKS!

hi karyn,
i think the only airline flying between bangkok and siem reap is bangkok airways (or its mirror airline siem reap airways). as they've got a monopoly on this route, they are charging monopoly prices. the last time i checked, the flights were in the US$ 160 per person one way. there are also fuel surcharges and the bangkok airport departure tax of 500 baht per person to consider too.
in any case, you can check the latest fares yourself on the bangkok airways website.
it is best to book in advance if you really need to travel on a certain day. booking online via their website is pretty easy. another thing to consider is if you'll be flying more than three segments with bangkok airways. if so, you might consider their discovery air pass. details on their website. cheers.

hey tjutzi,
this was an odd place to post this query. in any case, yes, you should be able to get a visa from the vietnamese embassy in canada. check out the vietnamese embassy in canada website for more details at:
