We are planning to travel on the Rocket(paddle steamer) from Dhaka to Khulna. Anyone have any info about this. We don't know what to expect.

Hi I am Shaif from Bangladesh. I am working in a tour operating agency where we arrange package and personalized tour along with other travel related services.
Rocket is one of the oldest steamer service in Bangladesh. Its route is (Dhaka-Chandpur-Barisal-Jhalokati-Kaukhali-Hularhat-Mongla-Morolgonj-Khulna)
Usually it starts from Dhaka at 6.00 PM and reach Morolganj,Khulna at 8.00 PM next day (local time). From Dhaka Friday is off day and from Khulna Sunday is off day.
It has 3 class 1st 2nd and 3rd. 1st class there are A/C and you can choose food there.
