On your overnight train trip to Chang Mai. The bottom bunk is much more comfortable.
I took the night train from Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai in 2004. Arrived very rested. It was a great trip.
I will be in Phu Quoc the same days you are.
Thanks, I am using your itinerary to help build mine when I get there about a month or two after your have been there.
I look forward to hearing about your slow boat experience to Luang Prabang.
