    Just wanting to know what people think of the times allocated for each place. not all set in stone though. some info would be much appreciated!

    29th – 1st – Koh Phangan – 3 nights
    1st – 4th – Bangkok – overnight train to Nong Khai – 4 nights including train
    4th – 5th – Nong Khai – 1 night
    5th – 6th – Vientiane – 1 night
    6th – 9thth – VV – 3 nights
    9th – 16th - Luang Prabang/Nong Kiaow ….. fly to Pakse – 7 nights
    16th – 18th – Pakse – 2 nights
    18th – 23st – Tad Lo/Salavan – 5 nights
    23rd – 24th Kraite – 1 night
    24th – 26th - Phnom penh – 2 nights
    26th – 30th – Kampot + Kep – 4 nights
    30th – 3rd Siem Reap – 4 nights
    3rd – 4th – Bangkok – 1 night
    4th - Bangkok – Phuket – Sydney - Home

    Hi cassrose,

    I edited your post to read Nong Khai as you had yourself getting a night train from Bangkok to Nong Kiaw...

    Otherwise looks good. I'd suggest considering reservations for Ko Pha Ngan as the island is going to be chockers for New Years, otherwise all good.
