Currently in Phnom Penh and wanting to get to Phu Quoc quickly by land.
What do you suggest is the best means?
Is it easy to get from Chau Doc to Rach Gai?
What are the costs involved, and do I need to spend a night somewhere in between?
Thanks,
clareabell

Hi clareabell,
Cross to Chau Doc, then bus to Long Xuyen then bus to Rach Gia. You'll need to overnight in Rach Gia as the boats only leave in the morning. Local bus charges are nominal. Depending on what time you get to Chau Doc, you'll be able to get to Rach Gia in a day from Phnom Penh.
Enjoy Phu Quoc - I loved it!
