I'm looking forward to my trip to Asia so much I completely forgot about the World Cup dates! Around the date of the first England match I was planning on crossing into Laos from Thailand. With the time difference (the games will be on at 3:30 local time I think) I imagine everything in Laos will be shut? Nightmare!
Any suggestions? I assume the games will be on in Thailand, but not Laos? It shouldn't be that important in the big scheme of things - but it is the World Cup.

Don't know about Laos but during the last World Cup I was in Nepal and they had a giant screen in a square in Kathmandu. I guess that with all the tourists you'll be able to watch the matches...

According to FIFA.com, Englands 3rd game (and maybe last?!)will be played at 4.00 pm SA time! This means that the time in Bangkok will be 9.00 pm and not 3.00 am (the following day)! So I think you should have a very good chance at catching the game live on the telly somewhere :-). However, your 2nd game might be more difficult to catch as it will start at 1.30 am Bangkok time.....

I don't understand your concern, as an english fan there's no point in willing to watch the World Cup! Enjoy Laos instead!

I'll be in Bangkok when England play their 3rd game. Will it be shown on KSR?
