    Hi!

I'm actually thinking about my next travel, from mid-July to mid-August. Sumatra is on my shortlist (with Sri Lanka) but I hesitate because half of my trip would be during Ramadan. I know it is perfectly possible to travel during this period but I wonder if I would miss a lot of the experience this place has to offer. I love to stop in small roadside eateries or markets... I can't imagine eating only in guesthouses during the day! And how about the more "general" atmosphere?

    Do anyone had this experience?

    Thanks
