Down south in the bukit peninsula of Bali, is a quiet coastal town of Balangan Beach. With a fun intermediate level wave to surf and many local warungs along the beach, this is an area that is yet to become over developed. Just up the hill from the beach, about 30 meters, is Flowerbud Bungalows. A well manicured property with an infinity pool, Flowerbud has 14 multi-sized bungalows. They have bungalows that can accommodate groups between 2 and 6 people. Constructed with bamboo and walled in outdoor stone bathrooms, the bungalows have a cozy and rustic feel. The management is yet to install lights inside the bungalows, so make sure to bring a headlamp.
Flowerbud also has a full restaurant and bar with a great selection, as well as spa services available for guests. With very reasonable rates (650,000 for a 5 person bungalow), this is a great weekend getaway for locals and a fantastic place to spend some time for people on holiday interested in relaxing and surfing.
