We are planning an extended family trip through SE Asia next year and we are starting out on Nusa Lembongan for a week of surfing and diving. We'd like to leave our boards and snorkelling gear behind in Bali while we backpack through Thailand and Cambodia as we'll be finishing our trip with a few days in Bali on the way home. Does anyone know if there is baggage storage available at Ngurah Rai airport? Also any idea of cost and where it's located (within the airport) would be great.
Also, on the way home we'd like to dive at Menjangan National Park. Any suggestions for reasonably priced family accommodation (5 people) nearby would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The luggage storage office at Ngurah Rai airport is outside the International Departure Terminal entrance. You have to have your luggage screened before they will accept it. The fees were around Rp 20,000 per day per piece.
If you want to dive at Menjungan, you could stay at Permuteran. Taman Sari is nice and the snorkeling off the beach in front is good. Adi Asri is another popular one. Both have websites.

Hi there,
Your able to store surfboards and bags at Bali board storage, the office is just off Poppies I in Kuta.
This is a Western ran, safe and secure storage company.
For a quote on dates and prices check the website www.baliboardstorage.com or email gordon@baliboardstorage.com
Its roughly 40,000 Indonesian rupiah a day, but if your leaving them for 3 weeks or more the most you'll ever pay will be 750,000 Rp. This is for one bag or 2 surfboards in a bag.
Hope this helps! Have a great trip!!

For accommodation in Pemuteran, a good budget option is Kubuku. Prices can be steep in this area, but Kubuku is cheap and the quality is quite good for the price.
