I was there in 2004 for a short time. There is a crocodile farm and a precious stones market (apparently called "Pasar Inpres Kebun Sayur") which you could check out.

Yep. The teritip crocodile farm is ... interesting to see up close. They have the estuary crocs too which have a smaller snout. The 'Pasar Inpress Kebun Sayur' is a great place to see some basic handicrafts and peculiar oils. You'll see some odd stuff there.
