Booking Trains in Indonesia

Posted by Aydonosaur on 21/8/2014 at 21:11

Hi,

Is it possible to book trains in Indonesia online and through websites that accept international credit cards? Can anyone offer advise on the best way to book a train throughout Java and Bali please.

Hi... I think the best way is to go to an Indomaret convenience store and book there through one of their little kiosks... that way you can have a staff member help you as it's not always straightforward doing it on your own. Having said that, I have used tiket.com before and it was OK. Pretty sure I used an international credit card.

Oh yeah, there are no trains in Bali. Just Java and a tiny part of Sumatra.

You may also try to search train ticket from popular Online Travel Agents in Indonesia. Happy hunting :)
