Anyone know what the exact dates are for Savannakhet's rocket festival (Boun Bang Fai) in May 2010?

"Beginning around the middle of May, the festival dates are staggered from village to village, enabling more participation and larger attendances." Is all I can find on google. But I guess you already have that?

I usually consider it to be the weekend following the May full moon and this has worked out correct, so in this case May 15-16 would be a good bet.

To clarify, I'm asking for the dates in Savannakhet city or vicinity, not the province, since there will be different dates in different villages. Thanks!

I just drove from Thakhek to Vientiane yesterday (09-05-10) and a couple of villages on the way where celebrating the rocket festival.
