Fly Phonsavan to Luang prabang?

    Hi, I have searched the forum for this answer but all info seems out of date and links are broken.

    Is it still possible to fly from Phonsavan (I know the airport is called something like Xiang Khouang ((sp?)) to Luang Prabang? I couldn't find it on the laos airlines site.

    They usually don't run LPQ-XKH in low season or rainy season (April-Oct) but probably will again starting November. Wait and see, or as stated above take the scenic bus ride.

    i took the bus, was a good ride - 8 hours i think with a stop for lunch!
