hey there
i know this has been asked loads of times!!!
travelling to laos next year,1 week thailand,3 weeks laos.
need some advise on visas,must sees and some info on travel agents in laos.

Welcome to Travelfish!
Yup - all been asked loads of times!
Visas -- 30 days is the standard visa on entry, though it depends on your nationality, check the FAQ in the Visa section.
Must sees, check out the trip planner section -- lots of suggestions there, plus just have a look around the site - lots of info in there.

you can also get good ideas on must sees from the trip reports section. the weather for november is listed in the Laos Weather FAQ. the info you are looking for is already on the site sport! cheers.
