There are some but they are all pretty hopeless. You are better off asking questions of those of us who live there. Mac is close, I live in Vientiane, Bob is somewhere in Thailand.

Unfortunately, they're all for Vientiane. Is there just not that much stock of rental houses available in Luang Prabang?

By the way, I just happened to look at a link to the Rivertime Ecolodge and it looks quite charming.
We are a couple with a 3 year old child and intending to visit Luang Prabang.
However, we most definitely enjoy beautiful, peaceful, nature-filled settings where we can get a local experience in a private lodge/villa.
Unfortunately, I have to work US hours via Internet and telephone (voice over IP). Is it possible to get a high-quality, reliable Skype call connection to the US from Rivertime (typically from 10pm - midnight and 6am to 10am)?
