Does the Laotian celebrate the loi kartong?
We will be in Loang Prabng at the time of the loi kartong in Thailand

Boun Lai Heua Fai (so-called Lao version of Loy Krathong) + Boun Ok Phansa will be around 23-24 October 2010.
About 1 month later in late November 2010, when Thailand celebrates Loy Krathong, Laos will celebrate Boun That Luang (in Vientiane) & Boun That Xieng Tung (in Muang Sing).
