Big news for those heading to Laos: Stray Travel Asia are about to commence operating their bus tours to Laos and to get things off to a flying start, they're offering 50% off all tours till the end of November.
Their tours vary from the Noy Noy tour (which covers the straightforward Luang Prabang-Vang Vieng-Vientiane route) through to the more involved Tom Yum tour which covers Sukhothai,Chiang Mai in Thailand, along with Luang Nam Tha-Nong Khiaw/Muang Ngoi-Luang Prabang-Vang Vieng-Vientiane in Laos.
There's a bunch of tours available and, with a 50% discount, they're not a bad deal at all -- even if you do have to buy your own Beerlao.
Yes, they cost more than a local bus, but the tours include guides and other stuff and you can get on and off the bus as you please.
Stray Travel is one of our new partners that we were going to announce with the new website, but as this deal just got announced I decided to jump the gun. Should you book one of these trips a small commission may be payable to us - thanks in advance
