March 8 (Women's Day) seems to be a ntaional holiday in Laos. Just wondering if travel services (i.e. buses) are running on this day and if shops (restaurants, etc.) remain open. Thanks.

Buses would certainly still be running - likewise the majority of shops and businesses.
