Hi,
M headed to Laos 4-11 December from Kuala Lumpur where I am based currently. Unlike my other trips, no other friend is on board for this trip..so looking for some company to make the travel bit more fun.
I am a designer by profession & a pretty relaxed person..keen on exploring more of nature & culture..but surely wanna do tubing
So far I haven't decided details of my trip but m surely spending atleast 3 days in Luang Prabang, 2 in Van Vieng & 1 in Vientienne..still have a couple of days left..
Please get in touch if u think our paths r crossing..

Hello Parththefirst,I'm also headed to Lao start of december.I'm coming from Cambodia heading north seing the sites as i go,(VV,LP,Vientienne etc)also like to try tubing etc.I have no set plan in travel,just seeing how it goes,maywell enter lao on the 2ish december.If i get to the centre of lao for the time your about ,maybe our paths will cross,with luck.Just depends on how quickly i get up their i guess? cheerio for now john

So I'll be in Vientiane on 4th..move on to VV for 5,6th and then to LP for 8,9,10th..will have to see something for 7th..on my way from VV to LP. Buzz me if our schedules are matching somewhere..
Will be good to have a chat over drinks..

Hi All,
I've plan to backpack to Laos on 9-14 Dec. I'm Thai 25 years old and solo female traveler.
I'll leave from Bangkok on 8th Thursday night by Bus to NongKai ,arrive there about 7 am. Then cross the border to Laos. I'll sightseeing in Vientian for half day then take a bus to VangVieng stay at there for 2N. On 11th travel to Luang Prabang stay for 2N or 3N. And on 13th I'll back to Vientian stay there for 1N(maybe) then cross to NongKai and back to BKK on 14th.

not sure if u are on the AK612 flight on 4 dec
like yourself, my friend isnt coming.
unlike yourself, :p i will be traveling by coach from the land down south tomorrow evening, just to catch the flight on sat.
tentative plan is to no plan actually
before yesterday, i dont even know much about Laos, so done most of research in this website before chancing upon the this forum
plan to do VV, LP, VT... dont know how to go about it now
but somehow will figure it out along the way
need to be in BKK by 10 Dec and leaving BKK on 12 Dec
i be arming a netbook and a guidebook to keep myself company throughout next week.

Indeed m on the same flight and researching about the trip at the moment..so I guess I'll ask everyone with a netbook + guidebook on the airport if s/he was "getaway"
