Hi
I am flying Lao Air from Luang Prabang to Bangkok in Feb. I have read lots of negative comments about safety and cancelled flights etc. Can someone who has flown recently give some feedback. I'm on a tight schedule to get back to Singapore from Bangkok to fly home late that night. Should I be panicking?

Hi Kimley!
We flew Lao Air from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang this past July. It was fine. My husband had flown them previously, and he convinced me that it was as safe as any other airline. He was right, it seemed like a normal airline to me. The worst thing that happened was that there was no beer lao served on board. Bummer, as we were looking forward to it, but soon remedied, of course, in LP. Have fun!

I travelled Lao Airlines from Siem Reap to Vientiane in November. I was hesitant to book with them, but they were the only flight available.
Everything was fine. The flight was prompt (and mostly empty) and safe.
