Hi
I read somewhere that you can Kayak from VV to Vientiane has anyone done this? I'd just like to find out who offers this trip and what I could expect to pay.

I asked at Green Discovery in Vang Vieng and was quoted US$25. I think that's the going rate, inclusive of the transportation to the kayak point and pick up. I wanted to do it initially but after some asking around it seemed like just regular transportation to Vientiane, except that they drop you off midway to kayak for an hour or two, then pick you up to continue with the rest of the journey. Not a bad idea, if that's your thing. I guess 20 to 25 should be about right. (a regular bus or minivan would be 6 or 7)
