My brother and me are currently travelling through Laos on two motorbikes that we would like to sell once we arrive in Pakse. We'll be selling them around Febrary 17th to the person willing to pay the most. Just let us know if you should be interested in buying them (All the papers for the bikes are with us).

Okay, what kind of bikes are these? Are the papers vietnamese or Lao? Any info at all about the actual bikes? How much are you asking?

If you have Viet papers you won't be able to sell them in Lao.

You can sell them to other travelers in Lao who can then use them to cross the border. Just can't sell to anyone who plans on registering them as Lao bikes.

We have two chinese bikes with lao papers. One of them is quite new and the other one rather old but running well.
Unfortunatelly we will not reach Pakse. We are now in Savanaket and we are going to sell them around here. The price is going to be 100/200 dollars (old/new) or the highest offer. Just let us know if you want to have a look at the bikes.

No they can't. Sell them in Lao and you have to pay duty.
