Hi there, any help on this would be appreciated. We are trying to book a flight from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang in early March, which I did through the Laos Airlines website (www.lao-airlines.com). I received a reservation # but have not heard anything else back from them. The website says that they respond within 72 hours, have followed this up with an email, but still nothing. It's been a week since I made the original request.
Should we just wait until we arrive in Chiang Mai and book it from there?

Hi jo8034,
Welcome to Travelfish!
That website is not the official Lao Airlines website -- rather it is the site of a Paris-based travel agent that masquerades as the official site. That said their site doesn't even seem to be working at the moment.
The official airline website is at http://www.laoairlines.com/ and the email for reservations is reservation@laoairlines.com. I suggest you contact them directly and see if they can help.

We booked Chnag Mai to LP by e-mailing the address that Sontam notes. It took a couple of days to get a reply and then a bit of to and fro with payment and they had difficulty in getting the names on the tickets right but it all worked out fine. We picked up the tickets from the Loas airlines office in Chang Mai when we arrived. It was a nice flight too!

Thanks all for your responses. Have been in touch with reservations as per Sontams post and received a quick response.
FYI price quoted was 4040 THB including taxes per person. Not sure if it includes Thai International Departure tax.
