I've been doing some research on the Gibbon Experience, but their website isn't the most detailed. All I've figured out so far is that there are two treks (classic and waterfall) and 2 or 3 day excursions.
What are the prices like for each of these? What is the difference between the 3 day and 2 day treks? Is the 3 day worth the extra money/is the 2 day not sufficient? Also, we are going during the beginning of wet season (late April/early May). Previous posts have indicated that weather won't be too bad early on, but I wanted to make sure.
Finally, what is the best way to get to Luang Prabang form Houay Xai, the bus or the boat? We'd prefer to leave the afternoon we get back from the trek if that is possible.
Thanks so much!
