If I had to just do one trip on one river which would it be.
2 day Mekong via Pak Beng or Nam Ou visiting Muang Ngoi and Nong Khiaw?

Point of information - the Muang Ngoi to Nong Kiaow boat is only 1 hour and cramped. You'd probably want to onward travel by boat from Nong Kiaow back to Luang Prabang (instead of the faster mini-van) for a fuller river experience on the Nam Ou.

Yes I was going to start at Muang Khua and work my way down the Nam Ou to LP.
Does that sound achievable?
