Visa At Chiang Khong or Huay Xai

    Is it possible to get a visa at either Chiang Kong or Huay Xai on arrival or do I need to organise this beforehand, if I can get one on arrival how long does it take?

    Hi fragility22,

    Most nationalities can get a Lao visa on arrival at the border -- takes 10-15 minutes depending on how busy things are. See the border crossing FAQ for details.
