Can anyone tell me the exchange rate from baht to kip or us to kip please .Travelling to thailand then laos in a couple of weeks.The loas kip doesnt seem to be on any currency converters on the net

Hi Mick,
You'll find Lao Kip exchange rates here on xe.com -- according to them around 9,600Kip to a US dollar.

Click on exchange rates top left, good at all BCEL banks for that day throughout Laos.
Looks like about 270,000kip for a thousand baht note this morning
