I plan to go to Vieng Vang but due to my travel plans I can leave Vientiane after 6pm . Is there a bus still traveling at that time ?

I don't think they have any buses after that time with Vang Vieng as the final destination but the bus schedule from the Northern Bus Station in Vientiane at this website http://hobomaps.com/TravelVientiane.html shows buses leaving after 18:00 going to Luang Prabang and other places that go through Vang Vieng and if they have an empty seat I'm sure they'll take you and drop you off.
