do not stay there! they double charged me and wont give me my money back. totally overpriced, they try to pressure you into tours in order to minimize their cost and accomodate other travelers. hot water didnt work consistently.

My experience was consistent with a professionally managed, mid range hotel. Rates were displayed at the desk for all to see.

I agree with fondo, absolutely no complaints $29 for 3 people (1db, 1sg bed), the view from the roof is fantastic

I agree with fondo and marianwarren... I found the Pakse hotel to be very friendly and comfortable. I believe we paid $19.00 for a double, delicious buffet breakfast included. The staff there was professional and very friendly. The room was clean & cosy. They did offer to sell us tours, but easily accepted a "No" from us. They stored some of our luggage for us while we went on a 3 day mototscooter ride on the Bolavens Plateau. I'm sorry your experience was not as good as ours. Comanchero
