Does anyone know the exact dates in 2007 for the above festival. I know it occurs in October but dont find the dates (full moon?)
Is it worth to attend this festival in Louang Phagang?

This is similar to Thailand's Loi Krathong festival which takes place in November. It's certainly worth checking out if you're in the area.
As for the exact dates, it takes place on the eve of Ok Phansa (the end of Buddhist Lent) which I believe is late October this year. I'm not sure of the exact date, so have messaged someone in Laos to try to get a definitive answer and will post back when I get the goss.

Hi again - got the answer, this year, in Luang Prabang, the Lai Heua Fai Festival is on the 27th of October.
