    Hi

Has anyone stayed here? We were quoted $27 for a room and just wondering if it is worth that money? Or are we better getting something half the price?

    Reet xx

Yes, I'd say it's worth the money

Worth the money, but it's a couple of miles out of town, and down a bumpy old track. The pavements between the G/H and town are only here and there. The street lighting is practically non-existant. So on top of the $27 you'll have to add a fair wack for taxis, traipsing back and forth. When we were in LP a year ago for a week, we'd return to our G/H at least twice during the day/evening for a shower/change of clothing. There are plenty of decent places in town, which tip the balance over the Thond Bay (imho).

Thanks for that... any recommendations on somewhere more central? The taxi cost doesn't thrill me as we are on a budget and were going to splurge a little with accommodation in LP.. yeah I know its already so cheap but its a splurge compared to the rest of our Laos accommodation budget... :-)
