Hi fishtails
It's in Bokeo province in Nth Laos, about a third of the way between Huay Xai and Luang Nam Tha. I went there in Nov 06 and have written a little about it in my trip report on Laos and there is an old thread titled 'gibbons' where there is discussion about it as well. Travelfish have done a feature article on the Gibbon Experience, somewhere on this site.
Hope this helps
Regards
Marian

Yup.
Feature story is here, it's a tad dated, but still sums the place up pretty well.
I'd search the forum for other posts, but my internet connection right now is awful (don't believe anything internet salespeople say tell you!) - use the Google search box at the end of the thread for "Gibbons" and see what you find...

Does anyone know how much it costs to do the gibbon experience, or how far in advance you have to book ahead? Thanks!

Not sure about the cost, but if you're planning on being there in high season then a reservation is a good idea.

Currently it costs 6000THB or 132EUR or 197USD.
Their booking office is in Huay Xay.
The road to the jungle leaves the main road about half way between Luang Nam Tha and Huay Xay. They can drop you there on the last day so you wonn't have to backtrack all the way to Huay Xay if you are going north. That's what I did.
