hi
i know this has been asked before,but i cant locate it..
what sort of adapters best for general travel to se asia.and where could i possibly purchase one?

Most home-electronics stores stock them, and I think you can also pick them up through online retailers like Amazon. In Thailand you can pick up very cheap adaptors in large department stores.
