    Is there much difference between the two operators for their two day mahout course:
    - Tiger Trail
    - All Lao Travel Service

    Difficult to ascertain the difference from their websites (except price). Anyone had experience with either?

    Also, soould i book in advance, or upon arrival?

    I did the all lao travel service. I did it with a group that made the price drop to 80 USD. I had a great time, we spent a good amount of time with the elephants. The second day was blah... But thats part of doing organized tours.
