Laos Itinerary - would you change anything?

    Hi,

    After much deliberation and changing, the next jaunt is to Laos (it was Thailand but don't ask!!) - below is the plan so far, I think it's lookin good, but any input would be appreciated - thanks

    Luang Prabang
    Luang Prabang
    Luang Prabang
    Luang Prabang
    Nong Kiau
    Nong Kiau
    Nong Kiau
    Nong Kiau
    Nong Kiau
    Nong Kiau
    Nong Kiau - Luang Prabang
    Luang Prabang
    Luang Prabang - Vientiane

    As you can see we are using Nong Kiau as a base for trekking, and generally just chilling out... and beer lao!

    Anyone any suggestions on what to do in the area - apart from my preference of beer lao?

    Hi Chris, my only suggestions would be to divide your time between Nong Kiaow and Muang Ngoi -- otherwise looks great.
