Will be spending two weeks in LP in mid-April.
Does anyone have recent experience of air pollution factor at that time of year due to burn-offs?

I know you posted this ages ago, but FYI for anyone else interested in air quality issues in Luang Prabang: we were there six nights, the last week of March, '09. Minor smoke, but not a problem (my travel companion has breathing issues with smoke and such, so we were extra sensitive to the issue). Could smell it a bit first thing in the morning, but not a problem otherwise.
