We will be flying from Siem Reap to Luang Prabang , and then from Luang Prabang to Bangkok, all in June. Is it necessary to book these tickets in advance, or will I be OK purchasing them when I get there?

Luang Prabang to Bangkok should be fine -- thr Siem reap to Luang Prabang flight tends to fill up quick, so if you can book that in advance -- or at least as soon as you're in the region -- that would be a good idea.
