i have 4 weeks to spend between laos,vietnam and cambodia and i am trying to find out, is it possible to fly directly to luang prabang from bangkok.
have any of you guys done a similar itinerary in a similar ammount of time, which route did you take to avoid travelling back on yourself ?
any advice would be welcomed,

Hi Rigo,
Yes, you can fly direct.
Off the top of my head I think Bangkok Air fly there for around 5000Bt. If your thinking of a few other flights in the area it may well be a better option to go for a Discovery Airpass. You can find all the relevent info on their website www.bangkokair.com.
When do you go??

Similar trip..................
I'll be going there next March for 31 days: Fly to BKK over to Laos then head south to Si Phan Don, over to Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Vietnam's Mekong Delta, Saigon then to Phu Quoc to chill for a few days before heading home via BKK

I have been checking out that discovery pass, and now thinking of changing our itinerary, and just doing Laos and Cambodia. Heading over Dec/Jan.
