mini bus vang vieng to vientiane

    i noticed on this website that a mini bus leaves vang vieng for vientiane at 9am.... how reliable is this?

    Do you mean the departure time? VV was last researched about a year ago, so the time may have changed a bit, but if I had to guess I'd say probably not.

    Sawngtheaws leave all the time and cost a couple dollars. I forget if I went out to the bus station or just flagged one down on the highway. He dropped all of us way out of Vientiane at Dalat Sii Kai where another sawngtheaw took us in to the tourist section and the morning market for another 5000 kip apiece.
