does anyone know when the Elephant Festival in Xayaboury is in 2010. I know it's supposed to be around mid February when I'll be there doing a dirt bike ride, but I really need exact dates.
On the same topic, is it worth going and can one find accommodation?

The official website is here: http://festival.elefantasia.org/ but there are no mentions of 2010 dates.
I've not been to it, but looking at the pics, looks like it would be well worth a looksee.

Yep, by looking at the dates for the last three years i would take a punt at 13-14 February. I'm coming from hongsa so the decision is whether to take a quick squiz then bugger off to quieter climes or stay overnight and battle the crowds.
Looks like fun though.
