Does anyone know if you can fly the above route and which airline?
OR... how do you travel between the two and how long does it take?
Thanks!

If the route is available it will be with Lao Airlines. They operate all internal flights in Laos
An alternative would be to take the bus. You might be able to buy a bus ticket from L.P to Paske and will just have to change over in Vientiane . Alternatively just buy a ticket to Vientiane then hop on one to Paske.
I'm afraid i don't know how long it would take by bus or plane

Haven't done this myself, but there should be lots of buses, around 8-10 h from Luang Prabang to Vientiane , and 10-15 h from Vientiane to Pakse. So definitely a good idea to break the journey for a day or several if taking the bus.

For the flight, check with lao airline, it's the only airline for internal flights in Laos.
By bus, it's about 10 hours from Luang Prabang and Vientiane and another 10 hours by night bus between Vientiane and Pakse (much longer if you take a local bus, so the sleeping bus is a good option).

You can get a VIP buses between Vientiane and Pakse. They have full beds in them. No need to sit up all night anymore.
