A$ conversion to US$ in LPQ

    Hi all,

    is is possible to convert $A (or THB for that matter) into $US in Luang Prabang? I will be needing a couple of hundred.

    I don't know 100% but at a guess i'd say you'd probably have to convert whatever you have into KIP first before they'd change it into US Dollar

    You can get dollars using a VISA if you go into BCEL branches though

    I'll bring some with me in that case, I don't have a visa card and would prefer not to pay ywo sets of conversion fees, thanks.
