Kongkhao offers you a dining experience unrivalled in Vientiane, both in terms of the quality of our food, and in respect of the beautiful surroundings.
Located in a leafy quarter of Vientiane, just behind the Mekong River, on Rue Phangna Sy, just a couple of minutes walk from Novotel or Beau Rivage Hotel/Spirit House, our restaurant is situated within a renovated old Lao wooden house, and features a large open kitchen and a beautiful outside wooden deck built around a fine tropical garden. Inside, we offer a large open air-conditioned dining area, along with a bar and lounge. Free Wifi and laid back music adds to the appeal of Kongkhao.

it's quite easy to find and close to the center... go on http://kongkhao.blogspot.com/ and you'll find the map at the bottom of the page. Basically if you are facing the Mekong, in the center, turn right and keep walking along the Mekong on Quai Fa Ngum, until that very same road turns into a gravel road.. keep going, when you pass a bar called Spirit House turn right, at the next cross road you should see us!
