Hi i am arriving in Vietiane on the 5th April and going on the Gibbon experiance on the 8th leaving from Huay Xai. what is the best way to get there and do i have time?
do your own pick & mix of options...
indirect option through Thailand (via Udon Thani - Phitsanulok - Chiangrai - Chiang Khong) exists too, but you'll have to exit Laos at VTE & enter again at Huay Xai = pay for a Lao visa twice (if your nationality doesn't qualify you for visa exemption).
