We found a great place in Vientiane for internet. Its called Vista Wi Fi Cafe, Ban Mixay, 011 Francois Ngin Road. Tel. 021 213 576.
You can get free internet access if you purchase food/drink or have a massage. The food is fantastic, and so are the massages! Staff are very friendly.

Another plus is the free bicycle hire there. You can use a bicycle for up to 1 hr after eating there to run around & burn some calories.
